I really love Superunknown...there's not too many albums where 75% of the songs are just jaw-droppingly awesome state-of-the-art classics--three of its songs were on my tracks ballot, but that number could have been easily doubled...

Siamese Dream was towards the bottom of my ballot. I loved Gish a lot in high school, but I was surprised to find about five years ago that I completely outgrew it. My favorite SP albums though are Pisces Iscariot, MCIS, & Adore for sure...

I really should've voted for Houdini...there's a lot of patchiness on it, but the great moments are absolutely killer.

Adore is my favorite Pumpkins album but it belongs nowhere near this list, lol

I only ever listen to the 1st 3 SP now, maybe pisces iscariot occasionally.

Another band tarnished by weak vocals for me. Paige Hamilton always sounded a bit like he couldn't really be arsed.

Fat riffs though.

I love his vox. Great album, one of my votes I think.

the mantle is pretty decent, but the clean elements ruin it for me. it makes it too serious and nice, and not in the way i like. acoustic instruments do not belong in black metal i think.

OH SICK ALBUM NICE!

That was my favourite album ever once upon a time.

I need to listen to this more (despite playing it to death in 1994)

Last time I tried to listen to it all the way through I couldn't really muster the stamina. The opening run of seven tracks still sounded killer though.

I remember everyone going apeshit over "March of the Pigs" and "Closer" but I really thought the heart of the album was "Heresy" and "I Do Not Want This"
