great beat...i love how it tricks you...like it has that stacatto synth/string/piano thing for a couple bars (like typical boring new dr dre type stuff) then all of a sudden it goes into that weird, twisting chord change that reminds me of something off 2 against nature by steely dan or some shit

curren$y is definitely a good rapper but i can't fathom listening to a full-length from him, i feel like it'd be so monotonous i'd fall asleep.

this is absolutely otm. i'd say more attention to songcraft than lyricism is what sells it for me, like much as i love soulja boy hooks they are dangerously close to too retarded to actually listen to. love how tp's hooks contain a couple jokes and ideas, most refrains with a new set of different lyrics. just like, it's nice to know he spent at least a little bit of time writing and thinking about these songs
