Can't take credit for it myself, but a former roommate of mine used to often say that he wanted to start a punk band called Manifest Dentistry.

martin m. (mushrush), Friday, 6 February 2004 23:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Pink Guns. The Hims - but probably not that original.

Etta, Friday, 6 February 2004 23:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I really wanna call a band "The Crab with the Golden Claws" but all I do is solo krautnoise and I don't think that works. :((

I thought that calling something "Future Daze" would be a good idea, but maybe an EP and not a band or even an album. :/

Lil' Fancy Pants (ex machina), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 08:07 (twenty-two years ago)

I still don't know what to call my solo folktronica project... I'm using my initials, but it seems a bit flat.

JP Almeida (JP Almeida), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 09:19 (twenty-two years ago)

And not "The Neck" either.

Dick Hertz and the Burning Sensations

There's already been a band called the Burning Sensations.

When we were starting our current band, a friend from the UK tried to convince us to call it 'Exit'. He said "think of all the free publicity, mate. I mean, "exit", that's everywhere innit? People see it in every building, driving on the freeway..."

We did not call our band 'Exit', so it's still available for the taking.

ken taylrr, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 17:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I was really excited about naming my band The Godzillas,
but the other bandmates wouldn't go for it. So we settled
for The Beautiful Damage. Needless to say, with a name like that,
we broke up within months.

So if I found a drummer tommorow, I'd form

Bad Trip Cyclone

or possibly

Midwestern Sexfest
