for out of town peeps, i am asking about Gay Witch Abortion the band, not the political stance, which i am 100% behind.

I saw a bit of them, thought it was good...I'm pretty much pro-anything w/Shaun Walker on drums, he's great....although..i would say that more members wouldn't hurt, i'm getting a little tired of the 2 man thing.

i just remembered that i ordered a cd from fratzke's band, like, months ago and never got it.

i played at the nomad a few weeks ago and it was totes awesome.

no, i've been really lazy w/new stuff lately, outside of emusic. also, i just got my vinyl back from the dude who had it on loan, so i've been sifting through that, which is taking up much listening time.

yeah sorry i didn't go jordan. nomad is nice. you guys seem to be doing okay in mpls though, at least enough to make it worth the trip?

yeah, there was some good press (city pages and onion picks, and a radio thing) so we got a great crowd. also we provided free food, which never hurts.

dreamland faces are cool (maybe a bit schticky vocally). saw them open for jason webley @ turf, and then saw them in a basement. nice people.

One year after we recorded Voice of Reason at Blackberry Way, we went back to the studio to record a second album. It was never released and the multitrack and master tapes are long gone as far as we know. No idea what happened to them.
But Terry Katzman had a cassette of roughs and possibly final mixes, which he handed off to me last night and I'm currently digitizing.
Hoping to do some sort of release of it if it all turns out well. Some very cool and uncharacteristic Rifle Sport tunes. So far the recording sounds excellent.

Saw them last night in a tiny club in Chicago. Between being featured on Twin Peaks and opening for Jenny Lewis, looks like they're getting bigger. Also getting more 60s garage/pop as they grow. Great live show.
