reckless on milwaukee has it! i went in there and they gave me the same "yeah so we're kinda embarrassed about this but no we don't have it atm" rigamarole and then i gave them my name/number and they said they would call me when it's in and then they called me like 15 min later. i went back and got it.

so far i like it but i'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the electronics live. i would actually welcome a stripped down/sped up mix of some of these songs.

Thanks for the follow-up! I'll see if I can squeeze a trip down there sometime this week, unfortunately I'm working 4-12 tonight and got an all day study session tomorrow.

From the interviews I read circa Assassins, it sounds like the Nachtmystium live experience is basically the album songs sped up, stripped down and a bit more "black metal" leaning. Less electronics, definitely. So I think we're in for a pleasant surprise.

Yeah, when I saw them with Torche and Boris after Assassins came out, that was pretty much the case.

From what I understand they dont do any of the electronic stuff live, its just more BM versions.
