the new bun b album sounds awful

T-Pain assisted "Trillionaire." Other cameos on the album include Young Jeezy on the bouncy "Just Like That," and Drake on two tracks: "Put It Down" and the closer "It's Been a Pleasure." The most surprising track on Trill O.G. brings Bun B with his former UGK brethren Pimp C and Tupac Shakur who both posthumously bless the track "Right Now" with Trey Songz on the hook.

theres a dj premier song

i remember hearing a rumor that Bun B was gonna try to make his "legacy" album and have it produced entirely by mr. lee or mike dean or something like that. then we get t-pain, tupac and trey songz

hes on fucking rap-a-lot what's the difference what he puts on the albums, it's not like it needs a viable hit single to make a difference in promotion. he should have done what scarface did with Made and Emeritus and just put out some good shit. looks like this will be just like II Trill

III Trill

what it feels like for a goon (The Reverend), Friday, 4 June 2010 23:09 (sixteen years ago)

i think he was already signed -- his rise was way too quick & ... i dunno. fake-underground.

not that this means anything as far as his music goes

its like why GROCERY BAG and not saddam? (deej), Friday, 4 June 2010 23:39 (sixteen years ago)

wait pill has a new tape? i'm so behind - how is it?

fman29.5 (k3vin k.), Saturday, 5 June 2010 01:23 (sixteen years ago)

it doesn't even like MEAN anything for a new rapper to be signed vs. unsigned at this point for me to have any feelings either way

unfinest states of america (some dude), Saturday, 5 June 2010 01:52 (sixteen years ago)

yeah, otm pretty much

what it feels like for a goon (The Reverend), Saturday, 5 June 2010 01:56 (sixteen years ago)

i just feel like def jam can be such a graveyard sometimes tho

what it feels like for a goon (The Reverend), Saturday, 5 June 2010 01:56 (sixteen years ago)

eh...it's very to be all smh def jam because once upon a time they were def jam but i don't think their methods or success rate at breaking new artists at this point is any different from any other major label

unfinest states of america (some dude), Saturday, 5 June 2010 02:33 (sixteen years ago)

and again, i feel like there's zero difference between an unsigned rapper vs. a signed new rapper these days...if they've got the drive or star quality or whatever to make it, someone will scoop them up eventually anyway, and if they don't have what it takes they're just gonna drop mixtapes and never have an album whether or not there's a label around to shelve it.

unfinest states of america (some dude), Saturday, 5 June 2010 02:35 (sixteen years ago)

when is someone gonna cosign me saying Pill is terrible has that happened yet

its like why GROCERY BAG and not saddam? (deej), Saturday, 5 June 2010 03:55 (sixteen years ago)

I have been forks-style since day one (forksclovetofu), Saturday, 5 June 2010 05:08 (sixteen years ago)

i mean, listen to whatever terrible rap u want, im just saying. it seems so obviously the gift of gab of trap rappers to me

its like why GROCERY BAG and not saddam? (deej), Saturday, 5 June 2010 06:53 (sixteen years ago)

i don't get that comparison at all. care to elaborate?

what it feels like for a goon (The Reverend), Saturday, 5 June 2010 07:39 (sixteen years ago)

I do bump Blazing Arrow like once every couple years ¯\(°_o)/¯

what it feels like for a goon (The Reverend), Saturday, 5 June 2010 07:41 (sixteen years ago)

stiff rapping. pretty corny
its actually pretty mean to gift of gab i liked 'sleep' & a few other tracks pretty well. but i cant help but get chemistry teacher vibes from GoG & Pill even if Pill has a southern accent & raps about drugs

its like why GROCERY BAG and not saddam? (deej), Saturday, 5 June 2010 07:44 (sixteen years ago)

musically they arent alike i know == more drawing a conceptual comparison
