For all of it's ubiquity 10 years ago, I had no idea that Kid Rock song was called "Bawitdaba".

My favorite Kid Rock story is that he was thrown out of a Waffle House in Atlanta a few years ago. Really sums him up.

Most places on the net cite Cher's "Believe" as being first, but while that was released as a single in October of 98, Devil Without a Cause was released in August of that year, even thought it didn't seem to start getting hit singles till like summer of 99. Also negotiated beer prices down to $4 each and parking to $0. Plus has ZZ Top and Kool & the Gang opening. So very worth the price of admission, even/especially if you don't drink or stay to watch Kid Rock.
