Allison, I thought the first album was decent. I seem to recall liking at least 4 of the songs, particularly "So Much to Say." I did listen to the next two albums. More than once even, and nothing particularly caught my interest. I mean nothing. In fact I found it odd that the stuff was so devoid of anything that might make me notice. I mean, not even one little spot where I went, "oh, that's kinda cool." I was aware of being bummed that the stuff I liked on the first record didn't even appear briefly on the others.
I hope that makes you feel a little less alone on this thread.
For the record, I like Killing Joke, though not as much as Alex. And my favorite band is They Might Be Giants, and I'm not afraid to admit it even though I know there are folks around here who may give me shit for it.

on another note i do believe people would hate dave matthews even more if he chose to collaborate with the likes of brittany spears. she has no talent execpt a few dance moves and body that is slowly but surely losing its wow factor.

I'll just give one reason for hating the DMB: the little 'pish' cymbals. And, yes, I saw them live opening for Neil Young once, or at least 2 songs or so.

For the record, we all live together in Chuck's parents' basement. And we all share one computer. And we do, in fact, listen to nothing but shit. Mystery solved. So now we can end that discussion.
Now, let's talk about spelling and grammar.....

Frank Zappa Fan Thinks You Just Haven't Heard The Right AlbumNEDERLAND, CO—In spite of your insistence that you are not into Frank Zappa, avid fan Roger Von Lee believes that you would change your mind if you heard the right album. "You're prejudiced, because the only Zappa you know is 'Valley Girl' and 'Don't Eat The Yellow Snow,'" Von Lee told you Tuesday. "Seriously, you need to check out Hot Rats or Absolutely Free. Zappa and the Mothers were at their peak, and Zappa's jazz-rock fusion experiments predate Bitches Brew. That'll totally convince you that Zappa's the shit." Von Lee added that if those two don't get under your skin, he can recommend another 15 to 20 albums that will for sure.

Dull? What type of music do you listen to? System of a down or sum 41, that shit is dull. Dave Matthews Band is the most talented and most giving band out there today. I garantee they will stand the test of time and be around for many years to come. P.S. Have you every listenened to anything but radio songs, probally not. You then have no opinion.
yep, it never stops.
