I hadn't been so physically assaulted by music since seeing the Beasts of Bourbon at Metropolis in Fremantle - when it was still called 'Cargoes'! The old timber floor of the band room proved highly conductive to Brian Hooper's bass in particular, with Kim Salmon and Spencer Jones' guitars not far behind.

I honestly thought my sternum was going to explode.

I'm pretty sure they will not only do Coachella, but also other festivals in Europe next summer.

Ha ha, they'll probably end up doing a "secret gig" at Sonic Cathedral. *Then* I could die happy.

I bought this album because I am so into Sigur Ros at the moment and it seems all the reviews I read say that "...if you like Sigur Ros you will like MBV.." Let me say this album is no where near a Sigur Ros experience.
