why is everyone (on waaaaay more sites than ILX) acting like they've never seen a juggalo before? ICP is all of sudden a hot, followable hipster meme in 2009-2010 when like the clown existed way before most people even had the internet.

i went to school with a juggalo, even helped him design his first icp tat. (ended up being DOWN WIT THA CLOWN in a classy script.)

The most amazing thing about the Juggalo movement IMO is how people point and laugh at it, but whenever you read accounts of people actually spending time with these people they're all along the lines of "holy hell, I have never actually spent time amongst a more upbeat, friendly and helpful group of people in my entire life". Like, ICP is actually making folks into better people through ridiculous clown makeup and terrible music.
