Roam is allright but it doesn't feature Fred, who is hands-down the best feature of any B-52s song

The best feature: the girls' harmonies. The second best: the guitars (Ricky's or Keith's).

nothing wrong with LS, but to my mind it is the fourth best single from this album (tho all four are admittedly brilliant). <3<3<3 the guitar solo in it.

I need to listen to the other album trax some more. it's been too long & I'm really liking the sound of "topaz."

still love Love Shack but yeah probably a bit overplayed to talk much about. Channel Z seems like such a weird choice for a 1st single given the monster hits that would come next (admittedly I've always hated that song)

Good Stuff is totally Cosmic Thing Pt. II, down to the producers and mix. Songwriting isn't as good, but still worth owning -- and you can pick up a used copy easily.

there's something about this video...it's nothing spectacular but it captures that vibe that's been kind of pointed out...the whole end-of-the-New-Wave thing, as well as the whole smiling-through-the-tears thing...it's really great

as a kid i loved the Cosmic Thing singles but Good Stuff was the first one they put out after I started buying CDs, so for years that was the only B-52s album I had. haven't put it on in a long while but I'd probably still like it.

I'd forgotten there was a Stipe cameo in that video.

I remember thinking that "Tell It Like It T-I-S" was such a profound shark jump that I almost completely disowned their entire back catalog. I'm glad I didn't, as that would have been really silly, but still: not a fan of that song/era.
