i feel some vague bond with you because you use the same link portals as me.

Melvin van Osterlow, Jr. (res), Tuesday, 16 March 2010 02:54 (sixteen years ago)

I'd really be surprised if anybody would ever put "36 Chambers" in the "dud" category. The meat of the debate on ilx is the debate over whether Iron Flag is any good or not, as well as Forever. and it looks like this thread is missing that.

To thread: two people with differing opinions on Iron Flag.

Cattle Grind, Tuesday, 16 March 2010 02:58 (sixteen years ago)

.gif is funnier due to people getting irrationally worked up over it, tbh.

Turangalila, Tuesday, 16 March 2010 03:47 (sixteen years ago)

not really -- it's just a not even funny example of an internet meme that's like 3 years old

don't get mad because you posted a lame .jpg on the internet

funky house septics, let me drain you of this (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 16 March 2010 03:58 (sixteen years ago)

I like Iron Flag. That album is badass. Well, half of it is anyway. Listen to "Good Thing We Brought the Glock" and tell me that beat doesn't kick ass all over the place.

Melvin van Osterlow, Jr. (res), Tuesday, 16 March 2010 03:59 (sixteen years ago)

lol not mad, still genuinely LOLing at your jerk reaction

36 Chambers is great. Forever is great. Iron Flag is great. The W is mostly great. 8 Diagrams is mostly crap.

They are all great. Even 8 Diagrams (although it is the least great.)

Fig On A Plate Cart (Alex in SF), Tuesday, 16 March 2010 15:55 (sixteen years ago)

I like to pretend 8 Diagrams doesn't exist.

The Reverend, Tuesday, 16 March 2010 23:53 (sixteen years ago)

personally, I like to listen to it

INSUFFICIENT FUN (bernard snowy), Wednesday, 17 March 2010 00:13 (sixteen years ago)

8 Diagrams is great if you need music to play while you discuss something illegal that you want nobody else to hear but not to actually listen to.

Cattle Grind, Wednesday, 17 March 2010 02:44 (sixteen years ago)

so i'm having fun listening to wu massacre. annoying lack of ghostface, who seems to have just grudgingly dropped of a leftover solo track and a few verses, but the production is nice enough, decidedly upbeat throughout. the rza produced track is the most blatanly dilla-aping beat he's ever made (and is very good), and the rest is good but i suppose too familiar to really excite.

Fact: Although he is recognized as a world-class martial arts expert, Chuck Norris is not a member of the Wu-Tang Clan.

that article has some interesting phrasing

Universal LULU Nation (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Friday, 25 August 2017 21:53 (eight years ago)

yeah, lot of marketing word salad

Οὖτις, Friday, 25 August 2017 21:57 (eight years ago)

According to a press release, the album is executive produced by RZA and “crafted by” DJ Mathematics. As the title suggests, it also features Wu-Tang Clanmembers.

like it's cool that the members of Wu Tang Clan have some features on their new album. def seems like RZA somehow owns"Wu Tang" the business and is holding over everyone's head

I'd really love an in depth piece on all the bad blood in the Clan over the past 15 years

First three parts so far, it’s ok . really wish ODB was around to tell his side of the story since he was there from the start and a lot of shit went down there between him and Rza
