Confused, though, since the "indie" albums I enjoyed this year (AC, YYYs, the xx) all placed highly here, and thus are enjoyed by about a billion other ilxors. Not sure what you're getting at...?

The thing I like about the-dream and e-red doing (even though im unfamiliar with them) so well is like the equivalent of the rolling metal or rolling psych threads having a consensus pick and everyone voting for it. But on the metal and psych threads we can't fucking agree on anything :)

Not being on every other EOY list is in their favour too of course.

Fever Ray is a good album, just doesn't feel like a #1 album, even in an ilx poll. 2009 wasn't an especially strong year for music though, imo. Good screencaps.

I think Zombi not making this poll is more of a disappointment than Converge not making it, because I really do think people would dig them, but for some reason only metallers know them.
