Yes. It's great! Starts off with three minutes of sea noises (Chris Watson) and then gets crazy fun. Introduced me to Wall Of Voodoo's 'Ring Of Fire' cover - I made brief reference to this on here a couple of weeks ago

australia dates in february. sadly nz dates fell apart.

Eh, we're used to it. Know whether it'll be early or late Feb for Aussie? Tempted to go over for the Primitive Calculators reunion + Afrirampo at ATP 09 in Jan .. could make a holiday out've it.

they are hoping for a US release but licensing the arthur russell track for the US is proving incredibly difficult so it will either be held up for some time or come out without that track.

Listening to this mix right now. Very excited about Sleepwalk.

60 Minute Of Fear is really rocking my world at the moment. I can't pick a favorite track on it, I've been listening to practically nothing else this week.

Sleepwalk is quite exquisite too, I've been playing it fairly soft volume late at night and it's giving me Lynchian dreams.

what's happening is normal optimo w/ no guests and that's about as good as it gets in my book.

i have an excellent mp3 of the optimo show from a couple weeks ago in melbourne... would upload but i think it's coming as a podcast through other means, will link it when it does. it's two and a half hours and it's still only half the set!

Seeing this thread bumped again reminded me- thanks for doing the Ten Tracks thing, Stirmonster (and Wilkes/Naum, who as far as I know doesn't post here so you'll just have to take his thanks and like it). I'm about halfway through the selection from October and you've already convinced me to check out the rest of the Den Haan EP ("Metamorphosis" is fucking great) and give the Black Affair album a shot.
