xps - yeah it was (finally) released on the hyperdub comp w/ikonika, 2000f & j kamata, cooly g, joker and zomby - guido and subeena also fit under this umbrella - the way the melody develops slays me

yeah i don't think i voted for any of these apart from Tirsdagsjam but I love it all pretty much! Except for AnCo (still zzzz) and Florence/XX (liked ok but wouldn't vote for). I even love Raindrops now - remember sampling it and being bored, but I think I wasn't in the right frame of mind at the time.

"Rockin' That Shit" has such a purrrdy melody

voted for "right side of my brain" but figured it wasn't going to place, so i threw in a "rockin' that shit" vote too. (at least, i think so. don't have my ballot in front of me.)

I've actually heard it on the radio before, I was surprised because I had read about him all over ILM and never realized I'd heard him before. It's just one of those songs you hear on the radio, don't hate it don't love it.

btw roz, I would be curious to know your opinion of the two funky tracks

man, i bucked enjoying the dream for SO LONG; couldn't understand what the hubbub was and then I got into the concept album part of Love vs Money and I just got my goddamn mind blown. Tracks 2-7 (and the lil' jon at 14) are solid pop hits but love v money/love v money 2/fancy/rightside of my brain/mr. yeah/12 play should really be one monster proggy rnb untracked lovesexy style jam because that would be my song of the year without a doubt

can't really remember the crazy cousins tune rn but "in the morning" is fucking great. xp

"Take U Home to My Mama" and "Mr. Yeah" are still my faves on the album, but I can't for the life of me remember if I voted for either one of those or "Rockin' That Shit".
