at what point did they start talking about Farmville

Restless Genital Syndrome (HI DERE), Friday, 18 December 2009 19:34 (sixteen years ago)

I think it ended with discussions of the antics of their rascally children.

joygoat, Friday, 18 December 2009 19:36 (sixteen years ago)

i started laughing uncontrollably when the children came in and couldn't stop until well after the song was finished

kaygee, Saturday, 19 December 2009 07:24 (sixteen years ago)

Ha a while back my cousin mentioned something on facebook about going to a Blue October concert and I was like who the fuck is Blue October. Now I know.

tiger's wood (latebloomer), Saturday, 19 December 2009 08:55 (sixteen years ago)

Re: the Chipmunks, there's been an uncomfortable sexualization of them since at least the mid-80s, as in this clip from The Chipmunk Adventure:

Getting lucky is really what it's all about.

kingkongvsgodzilla, Saturday, 19 December 2009 12:58 (sixteen years ago)

I really liked the intro of #4, I think the beat and the strings were very nice, but then the singing started... Someone should do a vocalless dub remix of the song, to salvage a good backing track from the horrible singing and lyrics.

Tuomas, Saturday, 19 December 2009 13:12 (sixteen years ago)

you should

akira goldsman (s1ocki), Saturday, 19 December 2009 17:50 (sixteen years ago)

Thrasher says:

You're a FUCKING MORON !!! The guy writes a song for his 3 year old daughter and has the balls to put it on his album to honor her. Do you have children? I'd punch you right in the face if I was in the same room with you right now. Hipster fucking people like you make me sick. You sound off as if you're fucking opinion carries any weight. Just another uninformed writer who doesn't do any research. FUCK YOUR LAZY ASS !!! Hundred's of thousands of people around the world LOVE this fucking band and the hater garbage you spew out of your disgusting fucking mouth won't change a thing. You talk about lyrics inspiring people. Go to one of their shows and you'll see everyone in the venue singing every word to every song. Oh but I guess all of these people around the world are wrong and you're right. Self righteous prick. This guy actually inspires hope in people thru his lyrics and champions mental health issues that affect thousands of people around the world. Hell you might be bi-polar yourself. You sound pretty fucked up to me. You don't have a clue about the quality of the people you're trashing. I hope you fucking choke on your bitter ass words and continue to lead a miserable fucking haters life. I bet you annoy the fuck out of your so called friends and family with your over valued opinion of yourself. Fucking die already.

tiger's wood (latebloomer), Monday, 21 December 2009 07:48 (sixteen years ago)

Restless Genital Syndrome (HI DERE), Monday, 21 December 2009 15:31 (sixteen years ago)

Per Tuomas, I isolated the intro of the Blue October song -- it's good (uh, the intro)! Could actually be useful for something.

Here's the mp3 of the loop: http://www.mediafire.com/?m52nz1zggoy

do you have children? I'd punch you right in the face if I was in the same room with you right now.

Setting a great example for the children there.

Oh... My Humps isn't on this list yet, is it?

Astronaut Mike Dexter (Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved), Monday, 21 December 2009 16:33 (sixteen years ago)

The first post basically said that these are 50 songs worse than "My Humps"

a coffee machine in an office (dabug), Monday, 21 December 2009 16:38 (sixteen years ago)

What I learnt from #3:

Tila Tequila version of fucking a man up = making his phone stop working.

SORRY ASS IMPRESSIONS (a hoy hoy), Monday, 21 December 2009 17:23 (sixteen years ago)

fucking awful song obv.

Bastards of Young Dro, Monday, 21 December 2009 19:33 (sixteen years ago)

this is my favourite tila tequila track:

how do you even begin to choose just one

the finest of display name homies (s1ocki), Monday, 21 December 2009 19:43 (sixteen years ago)

tila's choice

jealous ones sb (M@tt He1ges0n), Monday, 21 December 2009 19:44 (sixteen years ago)

Okay, usually I'm just amused by crappy cover versions, but #2 is genuinely offensive! Who are the idiots behind this atrocity?

Tuomas, Monday, 21 December 2009 19:44 (sixteen years ago)

loooooooooooooooooool. for all we had to put up with terrible indie bands and lolwhateveritiskerrangwriteabout, im so glad britisherland never really had anything like that whole staind puddle of mudd limp bizkit thing that went on in america.

SORRY ASS IMPRESSIONS (a hoy hoy), Monday, 21 December 2009 19:47 (sixteen years ago)

also love that the 'original' is labelled on youtube as 'Whats Going On (HIV/AIDS tribute)' like it is in honour of HIV/AIDS.

SORRY ASS IMPRESSIONS (a hoy hoy), Monday, 21 December 2009 19:48 (sixteen years ago)

ugh @ tila in general

pantalols (omar little), Monday, 21 December 2009 19:49 (sixteen years ago)

i remember on the 'what genre...' thread i just couldn't stop roffling at the hilarious sexual innuendo of 'up! down! up! down! up! down! up! down! it will get hard!'

on the plus side, it makes me think of this amazing disco track:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHB2JoNjaG4

And now my dick is where? Oh, this is too rich (the table is the table), Monday, 21 December 2009 20:11 (sixteen years ago)

(okay, now back to the crap)

And now my dick is where? Oh, this is too rich (the table is the table), Monday, 21 December 2009 20:11 (sixteen years ago)

that tila tequila song sounds like millionaires, only worse, which isn't something i ever anticipated writing

kaygee, Monday, 21 December 2009 20:13 (sixteen years ago)

holding out that Everclear's "A.M. Radio" pulls away with top honors

lol. the choice would have a poetic quality too, a song that makes nostalgia for the past sound worse than any of the musical horrors that came this decade.

da croupier, Monday, 21 December 2009 20:42 (sixteen years ago)

i honestly was thinking about going challops route and making "Don't Stop Believing" #1

wordy fappinghood (Whiney G. Weingarten), Monday, 21 December 2009 20:45 (sixteen years ago)

#1 - YOUR YOUNGER SIBLING'S COMPUTER

da croupier, Monday, 21 December 2009 20:47 (sixteen years ago)

hahaha

wordy fappinghood (Whiney G. Weingarten), Monday, 21 December 2009 20:48 (sixteen years ago)

i'm not gonna give it away, but i will say that #1 is an actual charting song

wordy fappinghood (Whiney G. Weingarten), Monday, 21 December 2009 20:49 (sixteen years ago)

hheeeyy i just noticed we haven't seen eminem yet

da croupier, Monday, 21 December 2009 20:52 (sixteen years ago)

putting my money on that (hard to believe LL would come up and not him)

da croupier, Monday, 21 December 2009 20:54 (sixteen years ago)

ugh @ tila in general

Tila saying that Rihanna deserved to be beaten up was a classy classy move.

ô_o (Nicole), Monday, 21 December 2009 20:56 (sixteen years ago)

other hated charters yet to be represented:

flo rida
will.i.am or fergie (it's not like "my humps" was the worst thing either appeared on)
chris brown
creed
clay aiken (or any Idol vet)
katy perry

shady seems easily the most deserving, though

da croupier, Monday, 21 December 2009 21:06 (sixteen years ago)

whiney would never do his girl katy like that

what u think i steen for to push a crawfish? (BIG HOOS aka the steendriver), Monday, 21 December 2009 21:09 (sixteen years ago)

TS: "Ass Like That" vs. "Just Lose It"

Nuyorican oatmeal (jaymc), Monday, 21 December 2009 21:17 (sixteen years ago)

fergie

I think "Big Girls Don't Cry" would at least be in my top 5 worst singles of this decade.

ô_o (Nicole), Monday, 21 December 2009 21:18 (sixteen years ago)

don't forget "labels or love."

but oh man, eminem. Mockingbird, When I'm Gone, 3am, Beautiful, Ass Like That...so many options. The only post "Lose Yourself" (which I don't even care for much) single I'll rep for is "Just Lose It" and I know I'm in the minority on that one.

da croupier, Monday, 21 December 2009 21:19 (sixteen years ago)

was there one where a fart sound was part of the beat?
