that's some coincidence! Barima also bumped into an old college friend. I was just glad to hear so much great stuff I recognised last night (pablo Psychonaut was good as was Brendan Long tho he doesn't look like a DJ, if you know what I mean, haha) e.g. the Daft Punk, Rex The Dog, Tiefschwarz, 'E Talking', that one that goes 'waap waap waap waap waap...waap waap waap waaaaaaaaap', erm

i'll post photos tomorrow. i only recognised the big tunes in his set and it seemed chronological ('cept i can't remember if 'La Rock' came before or after 'Candy' and 'Fanfares', the latter being probably the highlight - really incredible! I don't think 'Poney 2' sounded as good as it did on the Peel session apart from being technically louder and better quality, being as i was actually there.
