Taco John's has Fritos chips in some products along with Flamin' Hot Cheetos. I wonder if there are chip/taco exclusives to be negotiated here

Forget cronuts and negronis. Forget quinoa and kale. Short of putting food into our mouths,
technology is upending the way dining out works. Electronic wizardry once hummed quietly in
the background ... but now we're immersed in "front-facing technology" or "guest-facing
technology": all sorts of devices and programs that interface directly with the consumer. More
restaurant companies experiment with tablets ... letting guests order food and drink from their
tables; play games while they're waiting; then pay with smartphones ... meeting a waiter when
an order is delivered, or when it's time for a refill from the bar, or for upselling desserts.

negroni and cronuts are funny together because they have the same /ow/ diphthong as bone, groan, moan, joan, stone (and alone, grown, known, cone)
also when you order a negroni you have to say "groany" and that's funny

on a food note, I went to a buffet restaurant with coworkers the other day. the labels above some of the dishes had some... errors... although the best thing we saw was the label over the waffle fries:

White Castle to offer VEGGIE sliders.

I can't believe this is real. I won't believe it until I taste one, all greasy and smothered with onion. For vegetarians who love BAD FOOD, this is heaven.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2015/01/11/fast-food-deals-restaurants-burger-king-chipotle-pizza-hut/21599161/

Burger King on Monday will announce the return of one of its most popular deals from last fall: 10 chicken nuggets for $1.49. That's about half the usual price of $2.99 and it takes a serious jab at a popular McDonald's promotion that comes and goes of 20 Chicken McNuggets for $5.

"When we first offered our guests this value back in October, they went crazy for it," says Eric Hirschhorn, chief marketing officer North America, Burger King. So crazy, in fact, that the promotion had to end early when supplies ran out, he says. But Burger King's bringing back the offer, again, during a post-holiday time when folks are watching their wallets, he says, "and this time we're ready,"

Last go-round, says Hirschhorn, many consumers bought in bulk — even orders of 100 — often tweeting about the hefty purchases "as a badge of honor."
