I've got so many I wouldn't like to choose, great little monographs on architecture and architects, nice round ups of current art trends and overviews of various movements and objects but I guess on a desert island it would have be the Big Butt Book.

The various comics collections have always been A+. The Little Nemo page size should be larger but on the flipside I'm glad to have a near complete run of the key years.

Not really a design geek at all, but thought it was great.

'aesthetic surgery' is pretty amazing.

the r. crumb sex obsessions book was pretty great - and they're finally releasing it in a trade edition, which is even better.

I order so Taschen books for our graphic design program, I always love going through them.

I have that records one, it's pretty funny seeing minute hardcore bands and the like in a Taschen book but I didn't think most of the designs were v extraordinary, also often quite fugly

'Latin American Graphic Design' is interesting. My work has 'The Big Penis Book' prominently placed on a bookshelf, it is a talking point for visitors

Chaubin's CCCP is absolutely stunning. It really captures the grandeur, idealism and folly of late-era Soviet architecture.

TK Maxx was a good place to get Taschen stuff before Christmas. Not sure if that was seasonal or if it extends to TJ Maxx in the US though.

Taschen books are extraordinarily good value but so bulky I am running out of space.

Not sure if they still get the occasional shipment, but Half Price Books used to have a selection of Taschen stuff

Some cool Taschen stuff going cheap on Amazon UK atm.

Bourgery's Atlas Of Anatomy and Racinet's book on costume for £14 each, Seba's Cabinet Of Natural Curiosities for £11.20, London: Portrait Of A City for £18.

This is my favourite Taschen of all time, not cheap but going for £30 off list price on Amazon at the moment:

Their edition of Hiroshige's One Hundred Famous Views of Edo is so beautiful. I feel like I have to wash my hands before opening it.

Yeah, I love mine. Don't look at it too much because I don't want to eventually wear out the silk that holds the small pins. Such a gorgeous book.

Those straps look a bit delicate, yeah. I'm going to keep the pins loose.

I love this picture (Foxfire on New Year's Night Under the Enoki Tree Near Oji):

Another I just bought is East of the Sun and West of the Moon, also a fantastically produced book. It's great having Nielsen's pictures so big.
