How bougie is a wordy, enunciated noise-rap album if it's made by someone whose parents were a social worker and bus driver but who got a scholarship to Brown?

speaking as someone whose parents were a junior high teacher and an office manager and who also got a scholarship to Brown ... that would depend on a variety of factors, esp. race and place of origin.

when i think of roman punishments i don't really think of banishment anyway - that feels like more of a greek thing. for me the late roman republic way of doing it would be the proscription - you put someone's name on a list and it's immediately legal for anybody to kill them and take all their shit. classy people, those romans.

(don't get me started on how crassus disrupted firefighting.)

Insofar as there was a point to my facetious, second-thought question, I think that was it: the quick class associations people like to pin on cultural and aesthetic tendencies often tend not to have that much to do with, you know, class, esp since that does depend on a variety of factors.

Pretty impressed that the Libertarian Party have now apparently turned into the American equivalent to the Monster Raving Loony Party, these are the top contenders for their nomination? Apart from Vermine Supreme there's a guy who clearly riffing off Lord Sutch.

I have no time at all for the KKK, however I would like to recommend the excellent mini-golf course at their country club, it's absolutely up to the standard of the many other mini-golf courses in the area.
