i agree with chaki as far as my own "work" on the luna thing, i got much more heated than normal on that tip.

crazy times ! this place changed a lot and i'm sure if that would have went down in the present it would have been very different all around.

i wouldn't feel too bad; it was pretty shady

ended up working out, bcz nabisco playing good cop to yr bad cop made a lot of ppl switch to taking it srsly

keep in mind i don't forgive her, after the dust settled a bit i discovered she apparently told some lies about me to a late ILXor and i assume no one ever pushed back against them before he passed away. it sucks since i liked that guy. however i would absolutely have gone about it a bit less aggro...i think i just snapped when i put a few things together.

Yeah, I dunno. I felt bad for a bit. But some of the (off-board) shit-posting / chat logs that came to light absolved me of my feelings. As did the financial impact of her pseudonymetry. Also, I got frustrated that she (and roxy) consistently confused me with another poster who was.... not my favorite.

I've been reading ILX since 2007 and had heard references to the Luna fiasco, but never spent the time to figure out what happened. Holy shit!

I have always been a little intimidated by all the seemingly smart people on ILX who know so much about music, movies, books, philosophy, etc. Let's just say that after reading about the Luna thing, I am no longer intimidated. That photo she posted of herself is one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen. Seriously, maybe I am just not a trusting person, but how the fuck could anyone have believed that was her?
