Hello everyone. This Monday, I will be DJing at 93ft East on Brick Lane for an hour or so and would very much like some company to sit around and drink beer with me the rest of the night.

Various Ilxers have played/been there before - if you haven't, it's not really a club night. It'll be more a mellow evening in a bar, it won't be too crowded/wanky and there'll be lots of comfortable seating room. And I will be playing the bestest set ever, so come along.

To be honest Pinefox I think it highly unlikely you'd particularly enjoy the music - as far as I can tell there's very little overlap in our tastes.

But yes, between now and then, maybe I'll see the Pinefox. I certainly hope so. But then again, I always do.

I've played at a few open deck things in North London and I was thinking about trying to get something 'real' going elsewhere. Are they pretty open to you playing whatever the hell you like?

It didn't take much blagging at all - Anna-Marie, friend of The Lex, does a weekly Monday thing there and there are ususally guest DJs. I think I'll be maybe the fourth Ilxer to play there?

I apologise for my extraordinary rudeness - we were sitting there talking about my real new job within audible distance of my boss and I could see the beautiful web of lies I had weaved unravelling before my eyes. So I panicked and ran away.

I end up drinking in that bar every week and I've come to really despise it, which didn't help.
