3 tables over.

I am still weirded out. His wife was with him, screaming head off.

"DON'T YOU LEAVE ME!!! DON'T YOU LEAVE ME!!!"

He left her. :(

Ending a relationship is never easy, but you have to know when to get out.

I'm assuming that Blount is missing an apostrophe instead of a comma.

Don't leave me this way

I can't survive I can't stay alive, without your love Oh baby

Don't leave me this way,

no I can't exist ... I'll surely miss your tender kiss

Don't leave me this way

Ahhh, baby!

My heart is full of love and desire for you

Now com'on down and do what you gotta do

You started this fire down in my soul

Now can't you see it's burning out of control

Com'on, satisfy the need in me

'Cause only your good lovin' can set me free

Don't, don't you leave me this way,

no don't you understand I'm at your command

Oh baby please, please, don't leave me this way ... nooo baby

Don't leave me this way,

no I can't survive

I can't stay alive without your love Baby,

don't leave me this way

Ahhh, baby! My heart is full of love and desire for you

So com'on down and do what you got to do

You started this fire down in my soul

Now can't you see it's burning out of control

So com'on, satisfy the need in me

'Cause only your good lovin' can set me free

Need you lovin', baby ... need it ... need it ...

Satisfy the need in me Satisfy the need in me

Well baby, come and satify the need in me

Whoa baby, come and satify the need in me

Oh baby Don't leave me this way

Don't leave me this way No,

don't leave me this way No,

don't leave me this way, baby

Don't leave ... Don't leave me this way babe ...

Oh, baby ...

She never stopped screaming. Picture that crazy christian woman.

I mean really, her behavior led to his death. No one helped, and all she did was scream and kind of beat on him.

I saw a man eat half an artichoke at lunch today. It was a really big artichoke. Then, he ate some sort of chicken dish. It was wild.

dr. william idol (dr g), Tuesday, 29 November 2005 01:16 (sixteen years ago) link

If you shoved her out of the way to perform CPR, you would have been in the clear legally. Hell, if she tried to stop you, you basically could have cold cocked her and been okay. Its legally assumed that he would want to, you know, live, and so she would have been in trouble for attempting to interfere, if anything. Of course, what you actually needed was a defib, and more than likely there wasn't one around. Plus I have no idea if you've ever been trained to use one. They're not really tough anyhow: the pads tell you were to put it in pictograms, and most of 'em have a screen that reads the instructions.

This reminds me of someone who suddenly went into cardiac arrest at work not long ago. The woman had just bought some shampoo at a nearby table, and after collapsing, the people at the table had the nerve to come back over to her body and pick it up off the ground and return it to the table for sale. No lie.

An aside from those seeking to lower the likelihood: coronaries are common during and after fatty meals, and the mechanisms involved (postprandial lipemia & endotoxemia, endothelial inflammation, matrix metalloproteinase expression, plaque rupture, downstream thrombosis) are becoming clear 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. People can live with stable plaques, but inflaming their caps every meal is a bad idea.
