going out to clubs on your own = CLASSIC

going out to bars on you own = DUD(except in daytime, when it dont matter)

going out to clubs with only one friend = DUD, but sometimes has to be done.

going out to bars with only one friend = C or D depending on friend.

tannenbaum is correct, there's a huge difference between going to a bar alone and going to a club alone. dancing by yourself isn't all that different from dancing with a couple of friends nearby, whereas sitting by yourself at a bar is pretty DUD compared to having friends to chat with.

I have very rarely gone out to either with more than one or two other people. And any time I have been in a group of more than four it has been someone else who brought the group along.

In pubs and clubs I see these gangs of sometimes nearly ten people, and it is just an alien life.

I imagine that bigger groups just kind of talk among themselves. That is, they don't chat to people outside the group mostly. I dunno. Maybe they do. Maybe the world is just a fucking huge group of people and I haven't realised.

ok, this was kinda uneventful. great night for bonding with my friend, had a really good laugh, exchanged gossip, revealed secrets etc etc, we got on great, we just didnt approach any girls! oh dear. im shit at doing that in loud places, it feels so forced, or rather i feel forced to do it, so i cant, plus im just shit at it so n/m. anyway thats hardly an ILE rarity-admission so ill leave it at that.

ok, i will try that! i can do that anyway in general, just not in places where i think im 'supposed' to chat girls up. or in a place where going up to chat to them is usually instantly seen as 'chating them up' rather than just chatting. im a self conscious fuxor. but i spose testing it out on girls in bars i never want to shag would be helpful for starters.
