Chipotle sucks.

they have very good falafel imo

the local taquerias are almost all better than chipotle even the mediocre ones, and the price is about the same

the thing i always couldn't stand about chipotle was they keep their cold ingredients so chilled that your burrito ends up cold inside instead of warm just from the small amount of pico de gallo they throw in there. also they tend to not fill/wrap them well so you get a giant lump that's too wide to eat without spillage instead of a tight cylinder

but i realize i'm also biased since i had access to this stuff before chipotle moved in, other parts of the country people had practically never seen a burrito before so chipotle must have been a revelation

Seeing this thread up top made me realize I haven't eaten at a Chipotle in probably five years.

"It's on the web site" was their answer.

i was at a bar where the drink list was cycled through on a tv screen very slowly. i asked if they had a menu and that ^ was their answer

xp they have sofritas, barbacoa, and *throws up everywhere* queso now

i still love their chips

Yah I get half sofritas half chicken usually. I don’t hate chipotle I just got used to not eating there and now have moved on.

I like the salad option and the dressing

true. i do remember at one point that it was pretty tasty for a fast food place but it really has significantly declined

queso has one function, that being a dip for chips. they should change their name to Taco Chipotle

never had chipotle's queso and prob never will but i am a believer that queso in general kind of sucks and a good salsa is always better w/ chips

tbh the chipotle queso didn't really taste like much, which might be an indication that it is higher quality than velveeta. and it costs extra like guacamole but is not nearly as good.

chipotle’s queso is grainy and kinda thin and quite bland ... melted velveeta or canned nacho cheese would be better than whatever they’re trying to do here
