The hippo - once Danny Glover reprogammed it to sit on C-Mans FACE that is.

Is the fite on land or in the water?

Does one of the protagonists have an axe or a rusty saw?

mei (mei), Sunday, 4 January 2004 07:11 (twenty years ago) link

Is the hippo invisible?

And has anyone else read Trayce's last post with Danny Glover's voice?

I think a better question might be, if Danny Glover had a fight with Crispin Glover, who would win? I can't decide.

NA (Nick A.), Sunday, 4 January 2004 15:17 (twenty years ago) link

The hippo and Glover have no weapons. Well, Glover has a big plank of wood I guess. The fight takes place in very shallow water with Steve Irwin watching on with his newborn baby strapped to his right arm.

C-Man (C-Man), Sunday, 4 January 2004 17:37 (twenty years ago) link

No!!! Fuck the hippo, I want Crispin.

Zzz (-_-) zzZ (Wintermute), Sunday, 4 January 2004 17:40 (twenty years ago) link

i find hippopotami being forced to fight old actors cruel and barbaric

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 4 January 2004 17:41 (twenty years ago) link

It's not like that. There's been a plane crash and Glover has to fight the hippo to cross a stream or something.

C-Man (C-Man), Sunday, 4 January 2004 17:46 (twenty years ago) link

Wait just a minute - since when does Steve Irwin ever just stand around to WATCH? Now that you've brought him into the picture, there can only be one outcome - the poor hippo is going to be obnoxiously harrassed into fleeing long before Danny ever gets there with his big plank of wood. Steve Irwin is like the animal paparazzi.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 4 January 2004 17:58 (twenty years ago) link

How about this : Crispin Glover vs. the hippo!

The hippo wants to fight Crispin. Crispin covers himself in dirt so the hippo can't see him. While doing so, he ruins his hairdo! So he stands in the middle of the river and cries. The hippo is moved and makes peace with Crispin. The End!!!!

Steve will put his thumb up the hippos bum, that really annoys em.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:01 (twenty years ago) link

Yeah, there's no way they've established that level of intimacy yet.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:07 (twenty years ago) link

My dad.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:07 (twenty years ago) link

I said "thumb" not "new born child".

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:09 (twenty years ago) link

@d@ml's dad is a newborn child?! But... how?

It would be great if Danny Glover lost - I'm not a fan.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:30 (twenty years ago) link

also, I've never thought of him as particularly "hard".

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:31 (twenty years ago) link

Steve is impartial - he's been warned about dangling his kid in front of dangerous animals ever again. So he's staying well away and caring for the kid. It's Glover Vs The Hippo and all that stands between them is a plank of wood.

C-Man (C-Man), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:32 (twenty years ago) link

and Steve's thumb.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:33 (twenty years ago) link

and Crispin Glover (who is still crying but has command over an army of rats)

Zzz (-_-) zzZ (Wintermute), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:36 (twenty years ago) link

Maybe the plank of wood wins! It'll be like an environmental revenge scenario (it was once an Ent or something).

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:37 (twenty years ago) link

That's like David Lee Roth versus a Blade of Grass.
Never thought of that. Good one.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 4 January 2004 18:39 (twenty years ago) link

sixteen years pass...

It depends what era of Glover we're talking.

If it's today Glover, the hippo easily.

But if we're talking EIGHTIES Glover? Then...

the hippo...easily.

otm. Hippos kill more people in Africa each year than any other of the large African animals, including lions, crocodiles, or water buffalo. They're mean mothers.
