Dude, that's fucked up. My favourite bit is: "It sets a bad example to other parents", as if this incident is going to lead to a rash of incidents of parent dangling their newborn babies in front of ravenous crocs.

Nobody except a few assorted busybodies like zoologists, animal behaviorists and veterinary scientists, but what the hell would they know? Steve's a legend and it's just another case of the Tall Poppy Syndrome.

At least that's what his TV spinmeisters will be trowelling out tomorrow.

He was doing the right thing in the sense his kids need to be taught how to behave around crocs (as they'll lve in a park full of crocs!). What I think he did wrong was what seems to be the poor mans weakness - his odd grasp of social nuance. He means well, but acts in very odd ways and doesnt quite realise he's being a twit. Poor man. I dont really think he did the wrong thing - just in thw wrong way.
