He's *only* 80, but I was actively surprised when I found out that Pharaoh Sanders is still alive, maybe because he made so many albums in the 60s and 70s that I always assumed he was much older.

Eric Heidsieck, 84. The second French pianist (after Yves Nat) to record all of Beethoven's piano sonatas. I'm listening to his superb Fauré Nocturnes now. He's a relative, somehow or other, of the Heidsieck family of Piper-Heidsieck champagne fame. This seems to be the first time he has ever been mentioned on ILX.

That's why I've been calling for a Police Woman revival for ages. But one could make a case that the same applies to The Time Tunnel (1966-1967) because from that we still have James Darren (84), Robert Colbert (89), - those are the two main guys - and Lee Meriwether (85).
