And while I'm thinking of it... Neudonym, how do I pronounce your name? I've been treating the "neu" as German i.e. noi-do-nym. Is that right?

I have no idea how to pronounce that thing. I usually pronounce it the stupid-American-who-doesn't-know-German way, noo-duh-nim, but that's when I bother to pronounce it at all. I will accept any pronouncements at all, except "monkey-ass." (Cuts too close to home.)

Usually when I pronounce my name, I use the real one, Matt, and I say it in my flat accentless nasally voice.

'twas dope. went out for pancakes with family, then to Finding Nemo (Ellen DeGeneres' work in that movie can break your heart, she's really one of the comedy greats at this point and capable of oh so much more than she's getting the chance to do), then home to eat cake...oh and a gift certificate to Amazon from my mom-in-law, which roolz with more of an iron fist wrapt in a velvet glove than Vlad the Impaler

actually Vlad skipped the whole velvet glove part, making people sit on spikes until their body weight made the spikes go up through their asses and bodies and up out their necks

my birthday was way better than that
