"conceptual" (as in "freakin' far out" -> "way conceptual, man"). Sadly I don't think I've ever observed the use of this outside a Gordon Korman novel.

I like bogue. I use it a lot. Sometimes I add syllables by saying something has bogusity.

My favorite is 'flip the script'.

my friend (whom mr. s1utsky knows) named jon decided in grade 8 that he'd start using random words as slang...the only one that stuck--and it stuck for about 5 years, was "that's totally hypocritical, man" to mean good. why? i have no idea why we let this fellow direct our young minds.

Doesn't everybody do this in the early teen years? Not to devalue your story, of course, but it's one of those shared experiences that everyone seems to think is unique. That sounds bitchy. It's not supposed to be, it's a genuine question. My circle of friends certainly did the same thing.

Borf (vb) - to fail in a spectacularly physical way, eg, to back your car into a wall is a borf.

Variations:

Borf-fest: a whole series of people borfing in various ways in the same location, eg a very badly organised event.

Borfmaster/borfmistress: One who borfs a lot.

This term has only ever been used by people I know from the suburbs of Canberra, in New South Wales, Australia, but they use it all the time.
