If you work really, really hard at something, does that guarantee success?

Also, if you really, really deserve something good, does that mean you will get it?

Does working very hard mean you deserve good things?

So is this stuff that everybody already knows about? Am I too young? Or was I absent the day they covered this at school?

There are no guarantees. Be kind, do your share, and appreciate what you have.

Diligence is its own reward.

I think I kind of started learning that this year. I suddenly realised "Hey! I LOVE doing my work!" This year I will finish my degree and I have set myself pretty high standards as usual. I guess I just have to hope that working a lot and hard will pay off.

You can try very hard and still risk failing. Or you can never try and never be disappointed, and sometimes succeed without trying at all and feel way better than everyone else. Isn't it what Psychologists call "spoiling"?

I don't know anything!

If you don't work hard, you might get good things, but you probably won't recognise them. I am a lazy ho!

fun-da-mental trooth of life: no one knows nothin about anythin.

bad people oftne do very little for very great reward. good people often work very hard for very little (physical, tangible) reward. karma is a bitch. take that for what you will.
