lime juice squeezed over cooking chicken is nice as a lemon alternative, and a slice of fresh lime in a glass of water with some ice cubes jingling about is very refreshing on a hot day, ( actually make that gin or vodka with a dash of tonic )lime is yummy squeezed into curry sauces too, and the rind grated into many fish sauces makes great flavouring.

Also, lime pickle is one of my favourite Indian condiments. Lovely with poppadums. Want curry now.

So I bought a lot of mexican beer.
Also that ke-ke key lime liqueur above is too sweet for me but it's okay if you squeeze half a lime into the glass.

I have six pounds of limes. The plan is to make candied lime peel.
Problem: I'm going to be out of town Friday through Sunday, and my candied-peel recipe takes three days, so I can't start it until Monday. How to keep the peel freshest until then? a) Juice the limes and keep the peels in the fridge in an airtight bag until Monday? b) Keep the limes whole in bags until Monday? c) Or leave them at room temp until Monday? I think if it's A or B, they need to be kept in fairly airtight bags since the fridge is a dry environment and I don't want the peels to dry out.
What's your opinion?

If lime seems bland compared to the tanginess of a lemon. & you found a steady source of limes that belied that observation, could you advertise that source with the phrase 'no lime tangier'?
Or is it a Jesus quote meaning either don't touch me or don't hold on to me.
Or is it a policy thing for a town in Morocco when Moroccan limes are diseased. So if you're in the citrus smuggling business you need to watch out for No Lime Tangier?
Just wondering like.
