Funny, I'd make the exact opposite argument. Greenwald has never been a journalist; he's always been an opinion blogger, going back to the GW Bush administration. Taibbi, meanwhile, did some good work on subprime mortgages and financial corruption in general about 15 years ago. But now they're both irredeemable pieces of shit.

I read both a great deal through 2011; Taibbi wrote well-reported and decently written journalism, almost always fun. He's the one I didn't expect to turn into a quasi-conservative.

Well the US government decided that and I think the only reason it's come up again is because she was the last person we recall being charged under the Espionage Act which is what is motivating the investigation into Trump.
