Does anybody remember the DALL-E Mini craze of June 2022? It was awesome, although most of the results looked like smudged Francis Bacon paintings. I remember it because that's the month my credit card and debit card both expired. I remember wondering if I could load up my credit card with debt, and then just wait for it to expire and get free money.

But it doesn't work like that. They carry the debt over onto your new credit card. So I'm going to be eating powdered soup for a while. It was a good try. There's a train strike next week so I won't be going to Tankfest at Bovington after all, which is for the best because I wouldn't be able to afford the train ticket anyway.

Is those how our brains work? Just a soup of half-formed memories crashing into each other? I always remember a film called Bad Boy Bubby in which one of the characters argued that we aren't real, because we're just particles. And also that cat doesn't need a gas mask when it goes outdoors because cat doesn't breathe. Hollywood keeps trying to turn Lord of the Rings into a franchise - why not Bad Boy Bubby? I still remember that film.
