Semantle: Can you think like a computer?

Solved in 199 - up until about 150 I was derailed by a bunch of very abstract greens all leading nowhere - though, why, reason, however.

I solved Semantle #68 in 154 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 4.56. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #24. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 59.48 (996/1000).

I solved Semantle #68 in 70 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 8.40. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #15. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 33.69 (861/1000).
the answer was an appropriate one, as I didn't expect to get it when I did and thought I'd have to soldier on for a while with a bunch of upbeat, positive words.

Oof, took me 264. I got caught up in multiple green strands that didn't really help me and also found it tough to narrow down the part of speech the word was in, so I had a lot of variations of the same word all in green. I will admit that when I got it I did kick myself for not thinking of it before, though.

141, but wouldn't have gotten it without my husband's help. highest green was "knob", which indeed was how i felt like for most of this game.

Gave up after 200 guesses and only two middling greens. The worst I've ever done! I had clothes and dress, but they were both cold, surprisingly.

so many guesses without a single green! My 1st green was "headphones", having had words like "ear" and "hood" which were just outside the green zone. Spent some frustrating time guessing music and sound recording terms that were some way outside the green zone.

Well I half fluked it in 79. I normally don't let the early non green guesses guide me but after having no luck stabbing in the dark I gave it a go and it sort of worked. Highest non greens were choose, select, and option so I started thinking about web forms and got it in 3!

Most of my recent games have been terrible in terms of score, but this was a nice 30 for me. Came in from the functional/mechanical side of things rather than words related to clothing items, which I think made it much more simple for me.

Got it in 67. Had lots of greens with words like stymie, frustrate, derail, thwart. Then 'lose' was a high green, so I tried the old antonym switcheroo with 'win' which was even higher, and it was quick from there.

When is this game going to give me a break? What can stumble, hope, die, however, disappear, draw, belief, court, strong possibly have in common?

Got in in 318 with much thesaurus help after stumbling on my first >900 score, happen, in guess 293. Much respect to anyone who can get this in under 200, let alone 100!
