Hilarious thought, though. So when is someone going to photoshop me onto his album cover and call it I Get Ned or something?

it is my sincere belief that andrew w.k. is one of the most important creative talents the US has produced in a long time, in as much as his worldview and output are singular and startlingly powerful in their vision and execution.

AWK strikes me as a benign L. Ron Hubbard or Chuck Paluhuhunhuiuk or a Tony Robbins minus horse, and I'm in favor of benign-ness. We need more benign people in the world, and anyone should be pleased to get a phone call from such a dude.
But in terms of creative art, Tony Robbins is a far more grotesque and compelling figure, not least because he is a freakish sinister teeth monster.

He pretty good in Hudsucker Proxy and Jacobs Ladder, but I hardly think Robbins that great a force in creative art.

love the other guests cackling away while the host finishes the question with a straight face

Red Eye is a good concept for a show (the network anchors kick back and goof around for half-an-hour, the show doesn't air till late) but the host is so intolerable it kills it.
