if there was a genuine opposition they'd be explaining real grown up economics to the population and have a vision of a country where nurses get paid properly and public services get adequate funding. I don't think they even want to offer anything because that involves doing politics, which is hard work and makes you unpopular with the bbc and the right wing press. Not being in power isn't so bad when you get an £80k salary and still plenty of opportunities for grift.
