for me it was normally around october, centrally heated classrooms, windows closed because of rain, uniforms would be hardwearing polyester mix

It's already in the Mid to high 80s here, so....this week. It was so hot today I was out and about and had to pee badly, couldn't find a nearby bathroom. started getting light-headed so I just dropped trou and let it go on a row of bicycles.
Didn't mean to, but I was out of sorts. Just felt bad for the people who were seated on them at the time.

I was sweating when I was eight. Is it strange to sweat so late?

When my grandma was old and was getting cold all the time, she asked me to buy her "a sweat," which turned out to mean matching sweatshirt and sweatpants from the University of Alaska Bookstore. I somehow inherited them, so I guess I do own a sweat.

Heh, just like in European French. A 'sweat' (pronounced 'sweet') = a sweatshirt.
― pomenitul, Wednesday, 17 March 2021 00:37 (three years ago) link
My grandmother would never have acknowledged the existence of just a sweatshirt, though; she believed firmly in "the whole outfit."
