I just watched the SpiceDiver redux of Dune, and even though it has extended the running time close to the originally intended 180 mins, it was really thoughtfully put together and went a long way to making it much more watchable and cohesive.
What are some others that are worth checking out?

I dug the Q2 extended editions of Blue Velvet and Fire Walk With Me, which reincorporates all the deleted scenes back into the narrative. Not necessarily better, considering each one is now nearly four hours long, but a fresh way to look at old favorites.

I’ve always wanted to watch more fan-edits but the field seems focused on genres I don’t care for, like superhero films or Star Wars or Lord of the Rings.
