oh wow, i had heard of McBride's book but didn't know this is what it was about, might have to read that before the series premiers. I just bought his new one and Kill 'Em and Leave was absolutely outstanding.

really really didn't like the tone and thought it looked cheap and shitty and hawke's mugging was dreadful so I bounced after 2 episodes
