my step-dad is beating boredom by not simply self-isolating and doing his usual routine of reading all the daily newspapers at the local library every morning, nipping into 'Spoons for a couple of ales and a sandwich, going home for a nap, going back out later to the "Funhouse" to play some Blackjack. There is no getting through to him or my mum how serious this is.

Work is still making me come in, but if stuff I've got in my future schedule gets cancelled I'll just have to watch all the Netflix and Amazon Prime shows I've been missing out on because I've got so many YouTube channels I keep up with.

(BTW, all the local institutions, e.g. libraries, are shut this week and they pushed back the local Fiesta festivities from April to November.)

lol i just realised all the worst people* i am adjacent to on twitter are increasingly also now self-isolated and tweeting worse than ever

*meaning no one here obviously** (i am @dubdobdee on twitter if you want to follow or indeed block)
**i choose to insist this is obvious

anyway this morning's answer to the thread question is "reading twitter"
