When will men drop their fringes? It's been over 20 years.

Maybe it's been for longer but since the late 90s I've been very unhappy with the extremely popular hairstyle of men pointing their fringe skywards on an otherwise normal hairstyle. I never imagined it would last more than a decade, but it's still going with no end in sight!

It's been over 20 years since I've had a fringe even in potentia.

Sic- that guy's fringe has nice curls to it. The hair I don't like is a lot straighter. Maybe a general aversion to hair that stands too straight for any real length. There may be exceptions, maybe.

Again, probably too wavy and curly to qualify. It mostly goes straight upward.

in the 90s in scotland (as I'm sure you know) there was the very hilarious haircut of a short buzzcut all over with a fringe, usually sticking up but occasionally down on the forehead in a whispy way. horrid either way

Yes, I knew a lot of guys who had either one of these hairstyles. They thought it was the coolest thing ever.
