(god bless the one friend who actually bought me something on it.)

When I was in high school, a lot of people listened to Howard Stern while driving in the morning. My best friend's parents would often talk about his show. One time when I was having dinner at her house I started talking about the porn star who was trying to set the record for the biggest gangbang ever that he had just interviewed And I totally thought this was completely normal dinner conversation since it was obvious we all listened to his show.

To this day, my friend still refers to the time I brought up gangbangs to her parents.

yeah there are definitely a handful of specific ILX posts i would like to un-post or have the username anonymized or something, was trying out certain forms of performative or oversharing online whatever-ness and they are gross to me now. kinda feel like someday someone is going to track them down and hold them against me.

oh yeah giving info to tech 100%, that probably won't take 20 years though

likely a lot of necessary retraction for environmental band-aids: end of plastic water bottles, less air conditioning everywhere, red meat becoming a shameful luxury item

i think red meat will be last! lots of lobbyists and murrican jobs, plus multiple decades of people brainwashed into believing red meat is TRUE FOOD and a sign of casual wealth. would not be surprised to see NIMBY state legislature blocking federal mandates to reduce red meat consumption in the 2040's

Ideally I’d like to eat only expensive red meat but there’s so much of the cheap shit available
