i: where does ILX go to get one they can reliably and safely use in contracts?
ii: what is the downside and why are they bad (if they are indeed bad)?

i've only used it as my employer sends me my contracts with it embedded, but hellosign seems to work fairly well. not sure what it's like as the person making the contracts or whatever, it functions well for signing them and sending them to others.

scanners are still amazing, they are like the new Fax machines! Tbh I got my first scanner a few years ago and thought it would gather dust after that particular one-off use and was some outmoded old-tech shit, but it has been continuously essential equipment since - especially for emailing pdf's of letters/id etc to various gov depts which I often have to do. And then one night my online bookies banned me because I forgot my password, and some scanned id resolved the issue in minutes rather than days and I managed to get that losing bet on in time.
