Inspired by both Alfred's recent ranking of his favourite Grace Jones songs and a conversation that I was just having about her performance in the the Eddie Murphy vehicle Boomerang, why not poll the dramatic film work of one Grace Beverly Jones. She seemed to have a real crossover thing happening for a while there from about 1984-1986, but it never seemed to really take off like it should have (I remember Roger Ebert complaining around that time that Hollywood just had no idea what to do with her). Still, things like Conan the Destroyer, Vamp, Boomerang and even A View to a Kill seem to have their fans. What, if anything, do you think should be her cinematic legacy?
