On Wednesday, Oct 30th Midge Ure will be playing in a bar down the street from me!

Midge Ure = Dennis Kucinich

This thread has surpassed my wildest dreams. In fact I think there's somebody at my door right now!

Nope, just a guy passing out Midge Ure flyers.

I could maybe spare my double for this appearance. He can speak and sign autographs, but no questions, please.

I was there last week.

That doesn't exactly count.

I had nachos in the Lita Ford wing of the Hard Rock Cafe.

Fantastic, Maura, why in the hell would somebody do a thing like that? Mentalism?

Nabisco, I can't even discuss electroclash with your double?

The Lita Ford wing! Now I understand why someone would move here.

I'd like to come back and visit Cleveland. Is there a bus I can catch?

cleveland is dope! we played there & cameron bain was so out of it he fell off the stage & his guitar came unplugged & he kept calling the audience "fucking cunts" & these ppl were going oh those guys are junkies, i saw em shooting up in the toilet but bill weita ("greatest psychedelic guitarist in amerika!" - alan licht) said no man it was no big thing, they were only shooting coke.

here we see the tomb of Former United States of America President James Garfield. totally disproportional relative to the size of his legacy - amusing.

if it's ever sunny again on a saturday in the great lakes region I do believe I might hop in the car and beeline it to this strange little economically depressed town to tour this ridiculous tomb & and then maybe see some other stuff too later that night and early the next day, if anyone's got anything good cleveland stuff to recommend?

I'm sitting in downtown Cleveland in my office right now, the weather is shitty, I recommend not coming. Come in August when they're filming the Avengers movie.

can't wait that long, August marks my permanent departure from my temporary home in Milwaukee, the Cleveland of Lake Michigan. gotta get my tomb on before then, and I figure the spring time is the right time on account of my waning-winter antsiness.

Well, we've at least got a surprisingly winning baseball team right now if that's any enticement.
