Did I, in a moon-brained daze, see and completely blank Mr Carsmile on Holloway Road on Saturday afternoon?

That's my fear.

Nicholas Passant (Nicholas Passant), Monday, 2 October 2006 11:15 (nineteen years ago)

one month passes...
Starry on Tottenham Court Road today, walking towards the Spearmint Rhino, she didn't see me though.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 20 November 2006 13:59 (nineteen years ago)

Well spotted, Ken.

I bumped into Vicky in Lincoln's Inn Fields last week.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 20 November 2006 16:44 (nineteen years ago)

I was gearing myself up for gruesome sights in the museum at the Royal College of Surgeons - well worth a visit!

Matt dresses very smart for work

Vicky (Vicky), Monday, 20 November 2006 16:56 (nineteen years ago)

Is that open again? It'd been closed for ages and ages!

Breaking Under The Crush (kate), Monday, 20 November 2006 16:57 (nineteen years ago)

More information on grusome sights please.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 20 November 2006 17:04 (nineteen years ago)

They closed for a refurb but it's open again. It's got a cool gallery which is double height full of glass bottles with specimens in, lit so that it looks really sparkly and glitzy.

Matt if you want to go and see what STDs and pickling can do to a man's pride and joy then that's your museum. I just had a look at their website and 25% of the museum collection on the catalogue has a picture, so you don't even need to go to the museum! http://surgicat.rcseng.ac.uk/detail.aspx?parentpriref= to see a pickled foot. (actually I'm not sure if there's any tissue on that one, so it might not be pickled)

Vicky (Vicky), Monday, 20 November 2006 17:17 (nineteen years ago)

I know what's in it! Joe's mum used to curate it! But it was closed for the entire duration of our relationship or I would have got the best insider tour ever. :-(

Breaking Under The Crush (kate), Monday, 20 November 2006 17:19 (nineteen years ago)

Tom Ewing and I conversed on the Victoria Line last week.

Badrock Example (Barima), Tuesday, 21 November 2006 09:54 (nineteen years ago)

ian, Sunday, 22 April 2007 14:22 (nineteen years ago)

jessie beat me to it in mentioning this, probably because she is a better ILXor than I am. We bonded over BLOOD DIAMONDS. It was nice to meet you!

call all destroyer, Sunday, 22 April 2007 21:42 (nineteen years ago)

I saw Robster on the escalators in Waterloo station this morning.

ailsa, Sunday, 22 April 2007 22:03 (nineteen years ago)

What RJG's slight post up there does not cover is that Harry's Bar is the one in Paris, and I wa sthere just for the weekend. Therefore the odds of accidentally bumping into each other has to be no smaller than 10,000 - 1 and considerably higher. Except it wa sin a bar. Which makes that go down to about 2-1 for ILXors.

Met Cathy too who is great!

Pete, Monday, 23 April 2007 10:08 (nineteen years ago)

that's true, actually!

RJG, Monday, 23 April 2007 10:17 (nineteen years ago)

as is this:

Cheeta celebrated his 75th birthday on April 9th, 2007 in Palm Springs at his "Casa de Cheeta", hosted by Dan Westfall and Diane Weissmuller, (Johnny Weissmuller, Jr.'s widow). Many Palm Spring celebrities and press attended.

!!

RJG, Monday, 23 April 2007 10:20 (nineteen years ago)

Oh ye of little faith!

Pete, Monday, 23 April 2007 10:55 (nineteen years ago)

Colonel Poo, Friday, 18 May 2007 14:26 (nineteen years ago)

lex pretend, Friday, 18 May 2007 15:49 (nineteen years ago)

oh and while i'm here, cis and i met creme1 at the kompakt night at plastic people the other week

lex pretend, Friday, 18 May 2007 15:49 (nineteen years ago)

Ah well I was there because Wagamama's was too full! So we went to The Crown instead.

Colonel Poo, Friday, 18 May 2007 15:55 (nineteen years ago)

really? there was a fair amount of space when i got there (just before 2) and loads when i left (3ish)

lex pretend, Friday, 18 May 2007 15:57 (nineteen years ago)

My workmates went there at 1 and gave up and said let's go the pub instead. I wasn't going to argue.

Colonel Poo, Friday, 18 May 2007 15:58 (nineteen years ago)

this is why it pays to have a late lunch!

lex pretend, Friday, 18 May 2007 16:00 (nineteen years ago)

i'm guessing those 2-for-1 vouchers have found their way round your office too then!

lex pretend, Friday, 18 May 2007 16:00 (nineteen years ago)

Yep! I usually just go to the pub anyway on a Friday, but the rest of the dept was going for dinner.

Colonel Poo, Friday, 18 May 2007 16:03 (nineteen years ago)

WHO IS CREME1

and what, Friday, 18 May 2007 16:33 (nineteen years ago)

I saw Stew walking down the Saltmarket carrying some boxes and heading in the general vicinity of Mono. However I've just bought a new car and didn't know where the horn was so I couldn't toot at him.

blueski, Friday, 25 May 2007 12:37 (nineteen years ago)

I am goping to walk down Kingsway a bit later, in case anybody wants to impromptu sight me.

PJ Miller, Friday, 25 May 2007 12:40 (nineteen years ago)

How come only UK ILXors ever see each other accidentally? Maybe because we always see each other on purpose, anyway....

Laurel, Friday, 25 May 2007 13:53 (nineteen years ago)

I saw the Pinefox on my train to Charing Cross - he was going to Paris!

I was going to my office :(

Sarah, Friday, 25 May 2007 14:20 (nineteen years ago)

Grimly Fiendish. In a pub (well, OK, I was in the pub and he randomly sighted me as he was walking past).

ailsa, Thursday, 5 July 2007 08:08 (eighteen years ago)

Me and The Boy were in the car and he shouted "there's Ed from ILX" - it wasn't Ed but it was another man with big dreads and one of those roadmender jacket thingys. As The Boy had only seen him over my shoulder on a WDYLL thread I was quite impressed.
