i cant even tell what country that is. the pointy orange thing and two church steeples make me think europe somewhere but that bridge and some of those apartment buildings seem america? wait. is that an amusement park?

bangkok

lil yawne (harbl), Monday, 13 October 2008 15:34 (seventeen years ago)

For such a densely packed in place, it looks a bit Day Of The Triffids. No one in the park, no cars visible on the street. Can't see what the sign says, but it looks more likely to be in Roman script, not Japanese or Chinese.

Not New World, somehow not European-looking, I'd guess India, although that doesn't quite seem right either.

xpost yes maybe Bangkok

Zelda Zonk, Monday, 13 October 2008 15:37 (seventeen years ago)

its not bangkok

100 tons of hardrofl beyond zings (Just got offed), Monday, 13 October 2008 15:59 (seventeen years ago)

Scandinavian or Baltic, I reckon.

ailsa, Monday, 13 October 2008 16:01 (seventeen years ago)

i know what it is now - but i wont say cause i used internet trickery to figure it out

joseph sixpack (ice crӕm), Monday, 13 October 2008 16:02 (seventeen years ago)

Pines in foreground plus architecture make me think Soviet-land or possibly Pyongyang.

dell, Monday, 13 October 2008 16:03 (seventeen years ago)

tashkent then

lil yawne (harbl), Monday, 13 October 2008 16:05 (seventeen years ago)

Helsinki? There's a low-rent casino-spire on the left and a church-thing on the right that makes me think Orthodox nation, but it ain't Athens or such. Hmm.

100 tons of hardrofl beyond zings (Just got offed), Monday, 13 October 2008 16:05 (seventeen years ago)

The houses in the foreground don't look very Soviet.

Zelda Zonk, Monday, 13 October 2008 16:06 (seventeen years ago)

Just about to say Helsiniki?

Poll Wall (Noodle Vague), Monday, 13 October 2008 16:06 (seventeen years ago)

xpost True, I would peg them as Scandanavian...

If they are houses!!!

dell, Monday, 13 October 2008 16:07 (seventeen years ago)

I was thinking helsinki, but I just don't recall any tower blocks like that, and I don't think it is Kuopio or Tampere. Espoo?

Dead Cat Bounce (Ed), Monday, 13 October 2008 16:07 (seventeen years ago)

My initial thought was Gothenburg - pretty sure it isn't, but that was what put me on the Scandinavia track.

ailsa, Monday, 13 October 2008 16:08 (seventeen years ago)

Bratislava?

Neil S, Monday, 13 October 2008 16:09 (seventeen years ago)

this game is too difficult

lil yawne (harbl), Monday, 13 October 2008 16:10 (seventeen years ago)

I've been to Bratislava, it didn't much look like that.
