At the Weakerthans gig this evening, I saw this guy ahead of me rocking out, and then he turned to talk to his friend and I thought "That guy looks like Nick A from ILX! But the guy he's talking to looks like Peter from the Mountain Goats!".

I saw Ed on Grays Inn Road on monday morning. I started grinning at him inanely as soon as I saw him, but he only acknowledged my presence just as he was about to pass by me. Maybe he didn't recognise m and just smiled to be polite? Maybe it wasn't Ed, maybe there's an Ed look-a-like in that area who's wondering who that nutcase was. Nah.

At the same Scritti gig, pre-show, I met Green, just as I came out of the loo, where the hand dryer wasn't working. He reached for my hand and got a very damp and clammy shake - so I guess I fucked one up too.
