Of course the media is obsessed with whether Vance made up the dogs and cats stories rather talking about how insane it is for a US Senator to be attacking a group of his constituents based on their ethnicity.

Vance keeps saying he's "responding to constituents," any communication from constituents would be public record, someone should make him produce the emails or letters or whatever. (Except he probably can't because they don't exist.)

Dana Bash is getting credit for challenging Vance but I wish she had done more. There’s an interview in The NY Times and a filmed one elsewhere with a Springfield factory head praising his Haitian workers . Bash never asked Vance about those constituents. She let him say unsubstantiated lies about health issues also without challenging him really on that . She also never spelled out the benefits of immigrants who are working there and are paying taxes , and made him address those positives.

Maybe Dana Bash is mediocre
